Position Overview
This position will consist of but is not limited to the following responsibilities: Customer interaction and all tasks associated with the order process, including, customer address set up, order entry, tracking, problem solving, reviewing bill of ladings from shipments, maintaining pricing and terms, invoicing, interaction with the manufacturing plant, interaction with contracted logistics company, monitoring inventories, performing reconciliations, approving and coding invoices, as well as processing and preparing documents involved with exporting. Duties also include providing support for out of office sales force and other departments within the company as needed. This position also answers inbound phone calls from the company main line.

Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement with ideas for solutions
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Familiarity with large scale supply chain ERP software is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with product allocations a plus
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred
- 3-5 years working in a customer service environment preferably in Ag Chemicals
- Some experience with accounting and/or logistics preferred
- Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to perform job functions that may not be listed above
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Confer with customers by telephone or by email to take orders and resolve order issues
- Process orders accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Become familiar with product lines, including packaging and pallet configurations
- Cooperate with other customer service team members to solve problems and assist when needed
- Work with internal departments to gather information to meet customer needs
- Ensure appropriate pricing and terms are applied to transactions and invoices
- Maintain customer price sheets and upload into systems
- Contact customers to respond to inquiries or notify them of unplanned adjustments to orders
- Set up and maintain customer contact information, including ship to locations
- Work with plant on inventory planning and deliveries
- Use system software to monitor order status and inventory levels
- Prepare customer invoices for emailing/mailing
- Maintain invoice files
