Position Overview
The Group Sr IT Manager of Operations and Infrastructure has a key role in the IT department, responsible for overseeing cloud infrastructure, ensuring IT quality and security standards, and leading IT operations. This role requires a strong background in IT operations and infrastructure management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with Group IT Director to strategize, manage, integrate, and coordinate the overall direction and strategy of IT Operations and Infrastructure.
- Create and sustain a customer service culture that seeks to understand and satisfy the end-users' needs.
- Work together with the Applications team to create strong Global ERP support model.
- Serve as our functional Leader for Albaugh’s regional IT Operations and Infrastructure teams, providing functional direction and facilitating the team to execute global efforts while insuring reliable operations.
- Manage the creation of the plan for Global IT Operations and Infrastructure and the delivery of the selected and approved projects.
- Work with the Group IT Director to develop, implement, and support an IT Communication Plan that includes all IT Stakeholders.
- Oversee and ensure all IT service delivery processes including change management, asset management, configuration management, release management, operations management, service desk, and incident and problem management.

- Establish a robust service desk triage methodology that includes business critical prioritization and impact analysis.
- Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
- Contribute to the development of IT quality and security strategies, processes, and procedures; ensure compliance, continuously analyze for optimization making changes as needed.
- Establish KPIs for monitoring progress and measuring success for domain core processes.
- Participate in the IT budgeting process including the annual operational and capital budget creation.
- Remain current with new advancements in related and relevant technologies.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
- 10+ years of demonstrated progressively responsible IT operations and service-related experience.
- 5 +years of experience in managing Azure Cloud Services or related roles.
- Proven experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience with SAP or other Global ERP systems
- Datawarehouse, database, network, and systems management experience required.
- Experience in Cybersecurity and general IT security management preferred.
- Experience in setting up and managing service catalogs preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud infrastructure and cloud operations.
- Experience working with third party vendors and service providers required.
