Position Overview

Albaugh, LLC in St. Joseph, Missouri, is looking for college students ready to explore a career in process engineering to join our family for the summer of 2026. Our paid internship program will provide you with a hands-on opportunity to work in a manufacturing industry.  You will be introduced to our company culture and work practices and learn how our departments function.  The Process Engineer internship will include but is not limited to:

  • Work on process optimization and production improvement projects
  • Assist in maintenance planning and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Work within departments on equipment calibration and testing procedures
  • Collaborate Project: initial planning, data collection & analysis, design & development, testing and validation, and final presentation
  • Other duties as assigned.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strong interest in engineer work and manufacturing processes
  • Conscientious and responsible demeanor
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Available to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
  • Hands on experience

The Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited college degree program focusing on an Engineer related field
  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform basic math.
