Position Overview

Reporting to the Sr. Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Supervisor will:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff.
  • Ensure inbound/outbound orders are efficiently identified, stocked, pulled, scanned, processed, and relieved from inventory. 
  • Able to track, follow and make necessary corrections in various software for product tracking.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversees the development and performance of warehouse employees, ensuring adherence of team to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Completes routine audits and reports to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Completes daily crew huddles, safety talks, and performs an hourly labor assessment.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve shipping processes.
  • Oversees the flow of outbound stock to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and in accordance with Albaugh policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the timely delivery of supplies to departments supporting projected demands.
  • Ensures materials are stored with conservation of space and warehouse inventory rotation in mind and in alignment with the departmental policies and procedures.
  • Enters information into SAP.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Computer skills necessary.
  • Self-confident with ability to lead and manage team members to successful project completion.
  • Effective management of multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime to support a continuous operation as needed to meet business obligations.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferable.
