Summary
The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for safely ensuring production machinery and building equipment are maintained in a safe operating condition to prevented interrupted production.
In this role, you will troubleshoot and repair machinery and facility equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrates aptitude to diagnose problems and failures and repairs or replace parts as required.
- Ability to lead and follow safety rules as established by Albaugh.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional interaction with other departments and peers
Duties & Responsibilities
- 3+ years of verifiable Industrial Maintenance Experience
- Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance to identify and replace failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
- Dismantles/disassembles defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts to specifications using instruments and/or tools.
- Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, and pneumatics
- Willingness to cross train in other technical areas
- Your focus would be leading the safety and quality initiatives, coordinating production objectives, employee engagement and compliance with regulatory needs. - You will work with team members to resolve production issues and employee relations concerns.
Competencies
Education
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, safely use ladders, and tools to perform maintenance functions.
