Summary

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for safely ensuring production machinery and building equipment are maintained in a safe operating condition to prevented interrupted production.  

In this role, you will troubleshoot and repair machinery and facility equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of verifiable Industrial Maintenance Experience
  • Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance to identify and replace failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
  • Dismantles/disassembles defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts to specifications using instruments and/or tools.
  • Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, and pneumatics
  • Willingness to cross train in other technical areas
  • Your focus would be leading the safety and quality initiatives, coordinating production objectives, employee engagement and compliance with regulatory needs.   • You will work with team members to resolve production issues and employee relations concerns.

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, safely use ladders, and tools to perform maintenance functions.
